The Murlocs are five skinny kids making noise down under with their blown-out, distorted brand of soulful blues-rock.
Step and Stagger is the EP’s opener and features Ambrose Kenny-Smith’s raspy, crawling vocals over a slew of throw back rhythms and jangling guitars. At only 19-years old, Ambrose has a mature knack for lyrics as he pens and wails his thoughts about a special lady: her persuasion is invading my thoughts / It’s engaging me from all I got / Step & Stagger falling to my knees / Girl you’re all I want as I stretch out for your release.
